Role Overview & Responsibilities
As an ALDI Transaction Operator, you focus directly on point-of-sale payment execution, scan speed accuracy, and front-end queue efficiency. You process customer grocery orders at high speeds, handle cash drops securely, process credit, debit, and electronic benefits cards, and ensure exact drawer balances. Between customer rushes, you sanitize payment terminals, stock impulse display racks near registers, and assist with front-facing products on nearby sales aisles. This role is 100% physical and strictly requires full on-site presence inside the store (zero remote options).
