Role Overview & Responsibilities
As an ALDI Warehouse Team Lead, you provide frontline leadership to a group of warehouse associates during a shift, monitoring productivity and stepping in to resolve issues in real time.
- Team Pace Monitoring: Track the assigned team's pick, load, or receiving rate against the shift's productivity target, identifying any associate falling behind and providing on-the-spot coaching or reassignment to keep the team on pace.
- Frontline Issue Resolution: Resolve day-to-day operational issues on the floor — equipment slowdowns, slot discrepancies, staffing gaps — escalating to the Shift Supervisor only when an issue exceeds the team lead's authority to resolve directly.
- New Associate Support: Provide hands-on coaching to new warehouse associates during their first weeks, reinforcing correct picking, loading, or safety procedures through direct, on-the-floor guidance.
