Role Overview & Responsibilities

As an ALDI Morning Cash Register Assistant, you lead essential pre-opening store preparation and operate point-of-sale registers during morning customer hours. Arriving early before doors open, you assist in restocking produce, dairy, meat, and dry goods, front-facing grocery packaging, and preparing checkout lanes. When the store opens, you transition smoothly to seated registers, executing fast item scanning and processing customer payments accurately. This position is 100% physical and strictly requires full on-site presence at the store during early morning shift hours (zero remote availability).

Qualifications & Benefits

Must be at least 18 years old with a High School Diploma or GED preferred. Requires ability to work early morning shifts consistently (starting as early as 5:00 AM), physical capability to lift up to 40 lbs, stand, bend, and move actively, and basic cash handling skills.
